Welcome to Woodstone Community Primary School
Welcome to Woodstone Community Primary School!
On behalf of all of our staff, governors, children and wider community, I would like to offer you a warm welcome. It is a real privilege to be joining Woodstone as headteacher, such a fabulous school community, and I am incredibly excited about the journey ahead.
Here at Woodstone, we are passionate about developing the whole child. Alongside a strong commitment to academic achievement, we believe that children should have opportunities to discover their interests, develop their talents and learn beyond the classroom. Our investment in outdoor learning and Forest School, alongside our wide range of sporting and musical opportunities, provides children with experiences that build confidence, resilience, teamwork and a genuine love of learning. Whether that is exploring the outdoors, taking part in sport, learning to play a musical instrument or performing with our choir in front of a live audience, we want every child to have the opportunity to discover something they love and be proud of what they can achieve.
Our school values are at the heart of everything we do. We encourage our children to show resilience when things are challenging, demonstrate kindness towards others, treat everyone with respect, work together through teamwork and have the ambition to believe in themselves and achieve their very best.
I believe that every child should feel happy, valued, supported and inspired to flourish. Education is about much more than what happens in the classroom; it is about developing confident, curious and caring young people who are ready to embrace opportunities and make a positive difference to those around them.
I am looking forward to working alongside our wonderful children, dedicated staff, supportive families and wider community as we continue to build on the many strengths of Woodstone and make it an even more exciting place to learn and grow.
Please take the time to explore our website, and I would like to extend a warm invitation for you to visit Woodstone to show you around our wonderful school.
Together, we will continue Growing Together and Learning Forever.
Kind regards,
Mr T. Harley
Headteacher
